The Blue Moon Band

The Blue Moon Band is a lively five-piece function and party band bringing you classic, feel-good tunes from the 60s through to the 2000s — perfect for both listening and dancing. With a blend of soul, funk, and jazz influences, we deliver timeless hits with our own twist. Fronted by the fabulous and soulful Ruth McGrady, the band features four seasoned musicians with years of experience performing alongside some big names in the business. We might not all be pretty, but we sure sound good — tight, polished, and passionate about what we do! We typically perform up to two one-hour sets for parties, weddings, and events, and we’re always happy to discuss set lengths and budgets. Our fees start at £300, but if you’re working within a tight budget, just let us know — we’ll do our best to make it work. Got a special song in mind? We’ll gladly learn and add it to our set list with enough notice before your event. We perform across Wiltshire and into surrounding counties, using top-quality, fully maintained instruments and equipment — all PAT tested and covered by public liability insurance.
